Minesight runs two private Minecraft Java Edition servers: one for families, and one for teenagers aged 13 to 17. A parent names every player, and nobody else can join.
Compare the plansEach server is separate, with its own world and its own guest list. Everyone sees the same price list.
For children aged 12 and under, playing with brothers, sisters and cousins.
For players aged 13 to 17, on their own server.
Players under 18 cannot sign up themselves. A parent or guardian completes the sign up and pays.
Optional extras, such as name colours and event entry, are bought by parents in the extras shop. Nothing is sold inside the game.
Minesight is built for parents who want their children to play together online without meeting strangers.
Pick the server for your children's ages and how many players, then enter each player's Java Edition username.
You pay on Stripe's checkout page. We never see or store your card details.
Your players are added to their server's guest list within a minute or two of payment.
In Minecraft, choose Multiplayer, then Add Server, and enter the server address shown after payment.
This must be completed by a parent or guardian aged 18 or over.
Children aged 12 and under play on the family server. From 13 to 17, players use the teen server, which is separate and bigger. If you have children on both, sign up once for each server.
Sign them up to the teen server and remove them from your family plan. Email us and we will move them across.
Optional cosmetic items, such as a coloured name, and entry to seasonal events. A parent buys them in the extras shop on this website and they appear in game for the chosen player. They never give a gameplay advantage, and nothing is sold inside the game.
Memberships are agreements that only an adult can make, and a parent should know which server their teenager plays on.
Minesight runs Minecraft Java Edition, which plays on Windows, Mac and Linux computers. Bedrock Edition on consoles, tablets and phones cannot connect.
Yes. Each player needs their own paid Minecraft Java Edition account. That is a Minecraft rule and it is how the server checks who is connecting.
Email us from the address you signed up with and we will update the guest list.
Stripe retries the payment for a short while and your players keep access during that time. If the membership ends, they are removed from the guest list.
Use the report a concern page. If a child is in immediate danger, call 999.
